Despite being signed to Young Money, Tyga released his debut album the same day Lil Wayne released Tha Carter III. Early in his career, Tyga was known for his “Coconut Juice” single. Tyga has been popular on the mixtape scene since the release of his 2008 debut album, No Introduction.
Aside from Drake and Nicki Minaj, Tyga has been the most-popular member of the Young Money crew. The year of 2011 was the biggest year for Tyga since the release of his debut album. Initially, Tyga and Young Money planned to close the year with the release of Tyga’s official Young Money debut, Careless World: Rise of the Last King.
The album was given a December 20 release date, but December 20 went by without a release from Tyga. Careless World: Rise of the Last King has indeed been pushed back, but no release date has been scheduled.
