Few of the current hip hop fans realize how big it is to have Xscape reunited. This afternoon, LaTocha Scott took to her social media and confirmed the group was back together. They are getting back together for the first time since 1999.
When it ended for Xscape, it did not end on good terms. As recently as the 20th So So Def anniversary, Xscape ran into some backlash from Kandi, who opted to not perform or attend. Easily the most-notable person in the group, Kandi cited her being kicked out of the group.
Xscape reunited and visited Big Tigger at V-103. During their interview, they talked about how this reunion came together. Few things were glossed over during their conversation.
