Suddenly, all of the 1990s R&B groups are back in action. With SWV being honored at the Soul Train Awards, 112 having a new album out, and Xscape having their own show, it makes some want to look at the calendar. But, all of this is all 2017 and 2018 will have even more.

Both Tiny and Kandi were early on the reality shows and the benefits television has in relaunching careers. Towards the end of Tiny’s VH1 reality show, Xscape began talking about reuniting. Now, their reunion has its own Bravo series.

While Mona Scott-Young only had Xscape, as a whole, for one episode of her shows, and Kandi for only two, she has landed a huge deal. She has teamed up with Bravo to get Xscape for a full movie. There is a TV movie in the works for Xscape, which will air on Bravo, and Mona Scott will be the executive producer.
