Visions united and it allowed for something special to happen this weekend. As many already know, Hip Hop Vibe is based in North Carolina and Fayetteville has shown tremendous support, over the years. More support was shown when Foxy 99’s G Moniy put together the Creative Sound Music Conference & Showcase and invited Hip Hop Vibe out.
Those who have taken the time to come to North Carolina and partake in the hip hop life have seen how talented the hip hop scene is, here. With so much talent, G Moniy and his team took it upon themselves to attempt to bring some organization. Every little step counts and this was a major step in the right direction.
Festivities kicked off when the mixer took place at Starr Lounge and a few of the local rappers and even an out-of-towner came out to promote. However, the big show took place across town in Fayetteville and the actual conference and showcase. The panel consisted of the Hip Hop Vibe team, Carolina On The Rise, T.U.C.K., Craig Martin, Yung Bo Diesel, and Foxy 99’s G Moniy and Jane Dough, later DJ D-Rocc joined.
The hip hop figures who chose to engage in the Creative Sound Music Conferences & Showcase definitely had a chance to learn something new about how to find success. There is no one set path to success and each panelist and even people in the audience shared different ideas and formulas on how to make it. After all, everyone is out here looking for success and they received plenty of answers, especially from Jane Dough.
In pursuing goals, understand that it is a long-term situation and not short-term, especially in hip hop. G Moniy and Jane Dough shared countless stories of the measures they have gone to in order to establish both the Fayetteville and Carolinas hip hop scene. When stating “Carolinas,” this means both North and South Carolina. All in all, several perspectives on how hip hop moves in 2014 were shared.
After the conference part of the show, the artists who came out ended up getting their time to shine when they took the stage. There was a lot to be admired about the first annual Creative Sound Music Conference and Showcase. G Moniy and Young Rich Entertainment went all out in order to put together a top-notch presentation and Hip Hop Vibe is already looking forward to next year.
