Artists have realized mixtapes are the way to go. There is a lot of dope material dropping through these mixtapes that hit the internet. Cash Money Records’ second life was produced through mixtapes, as most know. Now, the label has labels under it and a roster full of artists.
Glasses Malone is one of the biggest artists from Los Angeles and he has his Blu Division label under Cash Money Records. J-Haze, an emcee from Pittsburgh, is the current focal point of Blu Division. Making his splash into the mainstream, J-Haze released his new mixtape, My Land, this week.
J-Haze kept the mixtape focused on himself, as it should be. But, J-Haze flexed his connections with collaborations with Glasses Malone, Gudda Gudda, and Yo Gotti on the tape. For his efforts, though, we decided to roll with J-Haze and My Land for the Mixtape of the Week with DJ Grady and DJ Junior hosting his tape.
