In this day and age, the hip hop industry has gone through tons of changes and there aren’t many moguls anymore. Instead, the moguls of the past have all joined major companies and the old brands have mostly gone dormant. Times like these are when new blood enters the game, such as Q The Question and SKE Records.
Based in Philadelphia, Q The Question got his start as a journalist before making the transition to being a record executive. When it comes to making moves on an independent level, SKE Records is setting the standard for it. In many of his interviews, Q The Question explains exactly what it takes to make it in this business.
Q The Question recently talked to Nelz about several topics. He ended up discuss T.I., saying that he is in his top five rappers of all-time. In this interview, Q The Question also broke down his plans for SKE Records in 2015 and why he believed in Trel Mack so much in the early days.
