By looking at the news, it appears as if these are indeed the last days of time. Gang violence in Chicago has been uncontrollable over the past two years. Lupe Fiasco and Kanye West have attempted to raise awareness for some time. Instead, the violence has gotten worse with a young lady who performed at the Inauguration of President Obama getting shot and killed only days after her performance. More gruesome than that was the death of six-month-old, Jonylah Watkins, who was shot five times while in the arms of her father, the intended target. Nothing can ever bring this child back, but Lupe Fiasco honors her life with his new track, “Jonylah Forever.”
