The Jackson family is close to American royalty, given what they have provided to music for the past five decades. Easily, Michael and Janet are the world’s most-famous Jacksons. Last night, the Super Bowl honored past halftime performances.
While Michael Jackson was included in the montage, Janet Jackson was missing. Ironically, in 2004, the last time the Carolina Panthers played in the Super Bowl, Janet Jackson performed. When she performed, she had the infamous wardrobe malfunction with Justin Timberlake.
In many ways, Janet Jackson has paid the price, continually, since that incident. But, most feel as if the situation should no longer be an issue. This is especially true from LaToya Jackson, Janet’s older sister, as she tweeted the Super Bowl, asking why Janet did not get a feature.
