K Michelle heats up Valentine’s Day weekend with new single Scooch
Eight years ago, K. Michelle was in the midst of taking the world by storm. At the time, she was still a cast member of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” K. Michelle was making history as the first person to launch their music career from the show. To be clear, K. Michelle had a career long before she joined the show. Not only was K. Michelle putting music out, she also had major features. Despite this, K. Michelle hadn’t had recognition as a star.
K. Michelle had a strong debut run in the 2013-2014 period. At the end of season three, of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” K. Michelle left the show. During this time, K. Michelle launched her own series, “My Life,” which allowed people a look into her life. Eventually, K. Michelle saw her career plateau, as she had issues with her label. The label issues spilled over into her reality TV career, which led to K. Michelle leaving the franchise, and her own reality show.
Eventually, K. Michelle got out of her label deal, and she returned to “Love & Hip Hop.” Now, K. Michelle is free to create the kinds of music she wants, and she has her show on Lifetime. This morning, she returned with her single, “Scooch,” just in time for Valentine’s Day.
