In the very near future, Misconstrued will finally make its film debut. A much-discussed film, Misconstrued is an indie flick put together by rising creator, Nelson Davis. The trailer for Misconstrued has many people anticipating its premiere.

Aside from the trailer, itself, seeing Tajaron Lewis made many people turn heads. A pretty face with curves to boot, many people gave her a second look. Now, Tajaron Lewis is allowing people to get their second look, and learn something about her as well.

Tajaron Lewis recently did a Hottie of the Week interview with Hip-HopVibe.com, discussing Misconstrued. She talked about her upcoming role in the movie, and the differences in her acting roles. Lewis appears in the film and a behind-the-scenes photobook Misconstrued also put together.

Read the entire interview below:

Can you tell us a little bit about your character of Shannon? The character of Shannon in Misconstrued is a young woman that is very direct, flirtatious, and fully comfortable in her own skin. She is very confident, so she likes to show her assertion, but has a hint of vulnerability when it comes to her crush, Malik. She tries not to show any uncertainty in her stride, so she can is usually sarcastic.

How is she both alike and different from Tajaron? Shannon is similar to me in that I can also be very confident and assertive, but with me, it can sometimes depend on the specific situation, whereas Shannon is direct almost all of the time. Shannon can be very humorous when she chooses to be, but I usually prefer to be more funny than serious most of the time.

What elements of your own personality did you feel necessary to put into this movie? My exaggerated mannerisms and facial expressions were the elements of my own personality that were necessary and very important to my portrayal of Shannon. I really add the element of her sarcastic and dry ways by the way I smirk and in my body language.

In what ways does Misconstrued stick out from your other film roles? Misconstrued is so different from my other roles, because it is in the suspense genre, whereas I usually portray a more comedic character. The script itself is so unique and overall makes for a better film, because you don’t know what is going to happen next. It allowed me to play myself, while also adding a more robust layer to my acting ability.

Can you talk about the creative atmosphere during the filming of the movie? The creative atmosphere during filming and afterwards during the ADR session was amazing. Everyone was a team player with the mindset of making this project as successful as possible. Each person’s input and chemistry on set was fun and productive.

Do you believe this film will have a big impact when it premieres? I absolutely believe this film will have a major impact when it premieres on Saturday, April 1st. There is already so much buzz surrounding the release and there is a lot of excitement that was generated from the trailer. I think people are going to be really surprised at the originality and creativity of the plot and outcome. I’m anticipating great feedback!
