It’s been a very busy week of politicking behind the scenes. Most have no idea what goes on to make this show called hip hop work and work properly. But, the weekends are chill time and with some free time, Mixtape Edition is back. The compilation tape from DJ Young JD, DJ Stacks, and DJ Young Shawn dropped this week.
Trapping From America is the name of the tape and it is a release from the home team, of course, The Cinematix. This tape features appearances from the Squad, as Gucci Mane, Bo Deal, Waka Flocka Flame, and YG Hootie are made. Ace Hood, Cap1, Gunplay, Game, Doe Boy, Migos, Trinidad James, Rich The Kid, also appear.
Truth be told, a lot of mixtapes drop and the market has become a bit oversaturated, but as a mixtape DJ, it is a personal obligation to guide the fans. All three of these DJs are from upstanding coalitions that push good music and break records. Every artist on the tape is someone fans should be familiar with.
