Throughout his career, Jay-Z always had the support of Funkmaster Flex. As a result, his station, Hot 97, supported. Last night, it seems like something changed or that Funkmaster Flex has gotten fed up. During last night’s Hot 97 broadcast, Funkmaster Flex went in on Jay.
Once he began speaking, Funkmaster Flex immediately began dissing the website, Life + Times. He called it trash. He then exposed an earlier interview he did with them about his app. Funkmaster Flex stated the info about the app was never published, but the Jay-Z app came out similar.
Funkmaster Flex went on to expose how Life + Times reached out to him for another interview talking about the Dipset reunion. Then, Funkmaster Flex told about the time he DJ-ed at the 40/40 Club and they told him to not play any Dipset music. Ranting, Funkmaster Flex talked more about how they stole his app concept and tried to get information about him at the Dipset reunion and took subliminal Jay-Z shots.
