During the first season of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop,” the show was more in tune to its title, as the show was full of girlfriends of rappers. Headlining the show was Chrissy Lampkin, the girlfriend of Jim Jones. Other notable girls included Kimbella, Juelz Santana’s longtime girlfriend, and Emily Bustamante, Fabolous’ other half.

Both Fabolous and Juelz Santana had the same reaction to the reality shows. They were glad their women made it work for them, but was not too thrilled about them putting their lives on television. Initially, Jim Jones felt the same way, but “Love & Hip Hop” also launched the career of his mother, Mama Jones.

Fabolous recently spoke to Vlad TV and he returned and spoke on his latest mixtape, which dropped on Thanksgiving, The S.O.U.L. Tape 2. When asked what song on his mixtape sticks out the most to him, Fabolous said it was “Love & Hip Hop.” The song details his girlfriend’s time on the show.
