Following the “Motorsport” single release, Cardi B did an interview, overseas in the UK, with Capital Xtra. They had the same question everybody did, about the song, and the video. Why didn’t Cardi B do a scene with Nicki Minaj?
Cardi B went onto say that she never saw Nicki on set, later doing an interview with Ebro, telling him she had a scheduling conflict. But, during her Capital Xtra video, she said Nicki changed her verse. In the new Nicki interview, with Zane Lowe, she cried when talking about it.
Not only did Nicki Minaj make the idea of her changing her verse sound crazy, she cried, while discussing it. She said she has texts from Quavo, where she asked him to defend her, and he said he would, if she was his girl. But, the original “Motorsport” audio leaked, and Nicki changed her verse, originally she said “Cardi,” instead of “Quavo.”
