This is the start of a dangerous and sickening trend. The police have killed another black person. Andrew Brown, of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, is the victim, this time, shot eight times in the back.
Andrew Brown, by most accounts, was an overall good guy, liked in his neighborhood. His death has taken the neighborhood by surprise. The people in the community are demanding more transparency from the police.
Apparently, there was a search warrant, and Andrew Brown was somehow involved. Whatever the case, it’s hard to see how shooting this man eight times was necessary. But, that’s the case, as Andrew Brown was shot by the Elizabeth City, NC police, eight times in the back, and killed.
