Coming into this season, the Golden State Warriors were focused on one thing, only. Their focus was winning the championship, seeing how they felt robbed of it, the year before. This season, they didn’t care about what their regular season win total was.
When Kevin Durant was added to the team, critics questioned how the team would round out. With Andre Iguodala coming off the bench, there was never a question of how he’d fit. He did well, playing his role, but Andre Iguodala didn’t take Finals MVP, this time around.
Andre Iguodala became a free agent, following the end of this season, and there were many teams interested. The Warriors ultimately reached a deal with Andre Iguodala. He would speak with NBA GameTime after news of the deal went public.
