The NBA dunk contest has gotten a lot of flack over the years for not being as interesting as it was in the past. Older fans can remember the days of Julius Erving and Michael Jordan. The best dunk contest in recent memory was the duel between Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine.
Things look to be getting better for the dunk contest as dunk contest legend Aaron Gordon looks to be joining the dunk contest. Gordon’s name was trending on Twitter this morning.
Twitter users called for Zach LaVine to join the contest to recreate the magic they had in the 2016 dunk contest. Dwight Howard and Derrick Jones Jr. said they will join the contest too which makes this contest seem interesting than past years. Will LaVine join the contest?
