R. Kelly is facing sex charges in Illinois, New York, and Minnesota as they involve trafficking and sexual relations with underage girls. He’s been locked up since the summer without bond as we’re all awaiting him to finally stand trial.
Kelly was scheduled to make an appearance at a federal court in Chicago today but strangely enough, he couldn’t make it due to a toe infection, according to TMZ. Kelly’s attorney, Steven Greenberg, made the announcement.
Greenberg added that Kelly had to have his toenail removed because of this and is in a walking boot. Greenberg didn’t knew exactly which toenail had the infection. At this point, with all the charges Kelly is facing, he might be in prison for a very long time. It all went downhill for him this past January as Lifetime’s docuseries ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ exposed his crimes involving underage girls. Hopefully, Kelly does his time.
