You either grew up with him from Nickelodeon’s ‘All That,’ ‘Kenan and Kel’ or the classic movie ‘Good Burger,’ the multi-talented Kenan Thompson has now landed his first solo sitcom.
The actor/comedian has been in the game for a long time, also holding the record as the longest-tenured cast member on NBC’s Saturday Night Live where he has been the head writer since 2014. It has truly been a long time coming.
‘The Kenan Show’ centers around his being a single father who strives to be a super dad to his two adorable girls (Dani and Dannah Lockett), while balancing his job and relationship with his father-in-law, played by Andy Garcia whose character is lending an “inappropriate” hand to help Kenan balance the load. Directed and Executive Produced by legendary comedian and actor Chris Rock, the set date has not yet been determined.
