Just as important as the music is the lifestyle that comes along with this thing the world knows as hip hop. Rappers made several clothing lines famous, like The Notorious B.I.G. did with Coogi. When Jay-Z was turned down for a clothing deal, he launched Rocawear with Damon Dash.
Time has gone by and there are many clothing lines out there now. It seems like every rapper has a clothing line and there are a lot of designers. For the most part, all of these new clothing lines are dope. Super Ink Clothing is a brand that is going to make a name for itself.
Engineer Gee Major is making Super Ink Clothing, which was founded in 2011 known. As the clothing line is picking up momentum, we decided to knock out an interview for the first-ever HHV First Look. During this interview, the founder of the line, Cole Letham, explained how he got started.

What inspired you to start Super Ink Clothing? I wanted to have a lifestyle brand to represent where I’m from.
Where did the name come from? I felt Super Ink Clothing would fit my brand, it’s a good brand name.
How did you and Gee Major meet? We met through Twitter and became friends. He told me he wanted to hop on board, so we made it happen. I felt he would be a good addition to the brand.
What advantages do you have with your brand in both Vancouver and LA? We are getting a lot of good connections through having the brand in both markets.
