Daze Summit Festival Continues To Put The Hottest, Trailblazing Talent On The Map

With it’s debut in 2016, Scott Morris launched the first ever Daze Summit Festival in New York City! With an amazing vision backed by talent, dedication, and hard work, Scott still couldn’t have imagined the garnered success and influence of his annual event years later. Scott is the CEO and Founder of Mor.Bookings Agency, a talent agency and an event planning company established in 2015 after the success of his “Dean List Tour.” A 40 city college tour, where over 250+ artists auditioned to perform in the first year. Eventually the tours became international and have been a great success every year since.

Daze Summit Festival is New York’s version of SXSW mixed in with that NYC flavor. This year the event kicked off on April 11, 2022, wrapping April 21, 2022. Additionally, it was powered by Mor.Bookings, Underground Advocatez and New Heat Studios. It featured many events such as, showcases, panels, and mixers for all creatives to connect.  Independent artists got the opportunity to perform for music executives and label reps from some of the following companies: Asylum, Epic, Atlantic, Interscope, AllepacTheFamily, Quality Control, DIEMON, Warner, EQ, Roc Nation, 300 ent and more.

These conversations offered a lot of valuable information that the artists found very beneficial. They shared their story on what it takes to get to that next level. Many spoke about the struggle and making nothing into something. Creating something authentic that can innovate and push the culture in positive ways. For those who performed they were able to connect with radio stations and record labels after every show. It gave them the opportunity to network beyond their normal reach and organically gain new supporters. Furthermore, this year‘s festival brought the city out and is deemed the best to date.
