During the early casting stages of “Empire,” many people were up for various roles. Rumors suggested Romeo Miller was also up for a role as one of the sons. While Romeo isn’t a son, he is giving Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) a run for his money.
In real life, Romeo knows all about being a young rapper and the son of a hip hop mogul. After all, his dad, Master P, invented the game FOX is portraying in “Empire,” propelling them to TV’s number one show. A lot has changed since P’s days, though.
Before he was Romeo Miller, he was Lil Romeo and he became the biggest child rapper in the game, behind Lil’ Bow Wow. Seeing how he is the second music guest on “Empire,” tonight, Lil Romeo gets the second Wednesday Throwback feature. His debut single, “My Baby,” takes the second honor tonight.
