Seeing how well the Toronto Raptors have played, all season long, the sports critics have said they should show the Raptors more love. Even while saying that, they laughed and said “but, we don’t.” The Raptors are the top team in the NBA’s Eastern Conference.
DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry are the East’s duo that actually chose to stay together. Instead, the critics wanted to make this season about the Cavs/Celtics rivalry, and the emerging Wizards. While all that’s been going on, the Raptors are here.
The Raptors have a five game lead on the first seed, in the East. Still, the critics aren’t taking the Raptors seriously, even as they are basically tied with the Golden State Warriors for the NBA’s second-best record. So, with everybody now CHOOSING to sleep on the Raptors, do they need to win 60 games to get their respect?
Keep in mind, the Raptors’ win, tonight, over the Orlando Magic put them at only seven wins away from 60 wins.
