Legendary adult superstar, Heather Hunter, is a multi-talented personality

“I Knew What I Wanted to Do and Made it Happen.”

As an adult super star, gorgeous Heather Hunter was known for her long, lustrous curly hair and sensual performances.  She was and is, however, a multi-talented woman who started her career as a dancer on the TV show Soul Train.

Heather became famous for her gig as a Vivid Girl, an exclusive contract actress for the world’s leading adult studio, the acclaimed Vivid Entertainment.

“When I started in the business, I was being billed as being black and Italian,” Heather recalls. “I had to hurry up and nip that in the bud and let people know I was proud to be African-American. The porn companies did not give contracts to black girls back then and I just felt, ‘Well, why can’t the African-Americans do that?’ So, when I got signed to Vivid in 1990, I became the first black female to be under contract.”

Heather then used her determination. “I knew what I wanted to do and made it happen,” she says. “I wanted to have a chance to change and evolve and not be pigeon-holed just as an adult star. When you come from the adult film business people feel like that’s all you can do. But, I made it happen. I got into music and signed a deal with Island Records and then I signed with Tommy Boy Records after that. I’ve worked with Scott Storch, DJ Premier and Wyclef Jean. All my friends supported what I was doing and helped me change my life. I wrote a novel and I opened an art gallery in Brooklyn. I even had a show on Playboy TV.”

Her novel is titled Insatiable, The Rise of a Porn Star and is available on www.amazon.com. It is described as “sizzling hot erotica and a fascinating look at the life of a porn star.” Also an accomplished painter, Heather had a one-woman show titled the Hunter Collection at the Front Street Gallery in Brooklyn.

Heather also has a full social life and among the celebrities she has dated are the late Tupac Shakur, Charlie Sheen and comedian Bill Maher.
