Working on his new album, Wale is looking to put Maybach Music back on top of the game. Back in 2011, Wale was the breakout star of the label and Rick Ross had him on his biggest tracks. Since “Diced Pineapples,” however, Wale’s buzz has fallen off.
Wale even spoke on what he needs to do in order to improve to get on the level of Drake and the other newer school artists. The first step in the process is to work, which he is doing. Back in the lab, Wale dropped the “My PYT” music video, earlier this week.
With the week now over, the Video of the Week is here, coming a little later than usual. Better late than never, as Wale has taken the Video of the Week for the first time in over a year. Well worth it, Wale wins it with “My PYT.”
