Yesterday, the team wasn’t able to get this one out, fast enough. It’s not the usual practice, but a couple of times have seen the Video of the Week come a little late. A week ago, Jay-Z and Beyonce did it, again, shocking the world with a surprise album.
The famed couple dropped, via TIDAL, Everything Is Love, their long-awaited joint album. Never have Jay-Z or Beyonce ever even mentioned having a joint album. That has never stopped people from speculating about one, though.
Last week, they dropped an album at random, and soon dropped the music video for “APES**T,” which immediately dominated radio. In one week, the video has done 34 million views. That, plus the overall domination from hip hop’s first couple is enough to push them to Video of the Week, yet again.
