Yeah, the Video of the Week series took a couple of weeks off. There was a lot going on, but Cardi B’s “Money” and Meek Mill’s “Trauma” were definitely Video of the Week for the prior two weeks. This week, it’s a New Year.
Last year, Nipsey Hussle was a breakthrough star, as he landed a partnership with Atlantic Records. This was to release Victory Lap, his long-awaited debut album. Though it was his first official album, Nipsey drops music once a year.
On the last day of 2018, Nipsey Hussle dropped the video for his album’s title track. The video was dope, showing Nipsey laid back, living life, his “Victory Lap.” With the week concluded, Nipsey has the first Video of the Week for 2019.
