Overall, Tyga had the comeback of the year, but Lil Wayne is definitely back in the game. His hiatus wasn’t even anything that he had planned, it just happened, due to his dispute with Cash Money Records. With all of that in the past, Lil Wayne got back to making hits.
Lil Wayne was counted out, but Tha Carter V is a solid album. The lead single, “Uproar,” featuring Swizz Beatz, was a strong hit. Now, Wayne is bubbling up, with “Don’t Cry,” featuring the late XXXTENTACION, may he continue resting in peace.
Earlier this week, Wayne dropped the “Don’t Cry” music video. The week in hip hop is wrapped and Lil Wayne came out on top. With the week wrapped, “Don’t Cry” is the Video of the Week.
