It’s funny how things work out, as Keyshia Cole decided to launch her comeback single, “You,” with French Montana and Remy Ma. At the time, Remy Ma had “All The Way Up” and “Love & Hip Hop.” So, she decided to premiere the video before the reunion finale.
However, before the planned video premiere, Remy Ma released her vicious “ShETHER” freestyle, dissing Nicki Minaj. To be clear, there is no drama with Keyshia Cole and Nicki, they have songs together. But, the secondhand promo has to be doing Keyshia Cole well.
Keyshia Cole, however, got overshadowed, even as the “You” music video has outperformed every other video this week. Just last night, she was celebrating 2 million views in two days, and the video is now coming close to 3 million. Because of this, the cameo from “The Haves and the Have Nots'” star, Tyler Lepley, and the drama, this is the Video of the Week.
