Every time Jay-Z comes back, he does it in a way that manages to overshadow everything else. But, no one has to tell Young Buck about this, because all of his shine was slaughtered for 4:44. This album is the one where Jay-Z really went there, though.
Most still regard The Blueprint as his best piece of work, but fans say this one is his Confessions. Since 2014, people have wondered why Solange attacked Jay-Z in the elevator. Then, Lemonade came out, where Beyonce went off on Jay, without mentioning him by name.
Throughout 4:44, Jay-Z confirmed cheating on Beyonce by having a threesome in Paris, and even admitting his mom’s a lesbian. But, the highlight of the album is “The Story of O.J.,” even though it has ticked most of the current generation off. Just for the game he delivered, for $9.99, lest not forget, this one deserves to be HHV Video of the Week.
