A week ago, Drake announced he would be dropping a new single. The song was called “Nice For What,” and when Drake dropped the song, people accused Nicki Minaj of making him do it to slow Cardi B’s run down. But, she had a week-long celebration of her own.
Drake has been hard at work, still running the top of the charts, while promoting this new single. The Toronto rapper has always had strong success, which was matched by his consistency. There is an album in the works, but he has yet to give a title.
Over the weekend, Drake dropped the “Nice For What” music video. As did Cardi B, Drake sampled Lauryn Hill for his new single. The video features cameos from Olivia Wilde, Misty Copeland, Issa Rae, Rashida Jones, Jourdan Dunn, Tracee Ellis Ross, Tiffany Haddish, Yara Shahidi, Zoe Saldana, and many other ladies, and just Drake’s creativity, alone, gives this one Video of the Week.
