Over the course of his career, DJ Mustard has come a long way. In 2010, he scored a hit, but most people didn’t know who he was. He and longtime partner, YG, created “Toot It and Boot It,” rising to fame, and signing a deal.
YG would remain on the shelf for three years, but DJ Mustard would get his shot, just a year later. Mustard produced “Rack City” for Tyga, then came the Roc Nation deal, and then his 10 Summers label. Now known as simply “Mustard,” he is behind Ella Mai, and many pop hits.
DJ Mustard still stays true to his hip hop roots, returning with his single with Migos, “Pure Water.” Given how hot Migos have been, over the past two years, Mustard couldn’t go wrong, here. 2 Chainz gave him a strong run, but this week Mustard and Migos “Rule The World.”
