Four years ago was the last time 2 Chainz had Video of the Week, as a lead artist. Early in 2013, “Yuck,” featuring Lil Wayne took the honors and 2 Chainz began a lengthy hiatus. However, 2 Chainz spent four years dropping some killer guest appearances.
2 Chainz returned, early this year, with Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, his third studio album. The popular emcee has returned and reached new peaks, with his music. Each single from his new album has connected with the listeners, in a different way.
When 2 Chainz delivered the “Door Swangin” visuals, he shut the internet down. Honestly, Kendrick Lamar deserved the last week of July’s Video of the Week with “Loyalty,” featuring Rihanna, so here’s his shout. But, this week belongs to 2 Chainz and “Door Swangin” as the Video of the Week.
