The city of Detroit is one of the original music meccas, as the predecessor of hip hop, Motown Records, is a Detroit original. In hip hop, Detroit did not get on the map until Eminem emerged. Since then, the likes of Big Sean and Dej Loaf have emerged.
RaH is a representative of Detroit and he represents the evolution of the city from Motown to the current era. As he continues growing, RaH joined forces with DJ Khaled, the industry’s current standard bearer. A man known for star-making, Khaled brought Ace Hood and Kent Jones.
However, RaH has his own situation and is only looking for what Drake and Lil Wayne have gotten from Khaled, in the past. His single, “Black Lambo,” is a definite banger and it features Khaled talking that talk. The end result is “Black Lambo” being crowned the On The Rise Video of the Week for this week.
