Approaching twenty years in the game, Snoop Dogg was long overdue for a reinvention, though he has gradually changed over the past two decades. Snoop Dogg made major changes, however, when he entered his twentieth year. The biggest change came in his name, Snoop Lion.

Perhaps the biggest shock came a month ago when footage surfaced of Snoop Lion hanging out in a Los Angeles club. Snoop Lion being in a Los Angeles should not surprise anyone, as he is from Long Beach. But, who Snoop was hanging out with, Suge Knight, the former Death Row Records boss and longtime rival should.

Snoop Lion is all about moving forward and focusing on the positive things in life. After all, Snoop Lion was “reincarnated.” Inspired by Bob Marley, Snoop Lion has taken the theme to new heights. On April 23, Snoop Lion will release his album that features appearances from Drake, Akon, Busta Rhymes, Popcaan, T.I., Miley Cyrus, and more.
