In the Spartanburg, South Carolina area, there is a man currently in police custody. Finally receiving his $600 stimulus check, Ray Michael Bradford, Jr. hoped to go spend his money. Instead, he found his money garnished.
Due to owing back child support, Ray Michael Bradford, Jr. saw his money go to the mother of his children. Because he wanted the $600 for himself, Bradford was angry. He was so angry that he took matters into his own hands.
Ray Michael Bradford, Jr. is currently held behind bars and being held without bond. After his $600 stimulus check was garnished, due to back child support, he attacked the mother of his children, beating her with a lamp, leaving her with injuries on her face, neck, head, and body. He would also set several fires, including to their home, and cars, with the woman finally being able to run away, receiving treatment at Spartanburg Medical Center
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Kevin Bobo said in a statement the victim was able to leave her home and run toward Cleveland Park but Bradford chased her and assaulted her again, dragging her toward a pond, Bobo said. She was able to get free again and ran to a neighbor who called 911, he said. – WSOCTV
