There was no aspect of life not touched by the COVID-19 pandemic. The sports industry was one of the industries hit the hardest by the shutdown and restrictions. A year later, things are beginning to open back up.

Last year, the NBA had to shut down, just before All-Star weekend. Millions of dollars were lost, so the aim was to get things back going, in 2021. This was in spite of the cases continuing to rise.

Adam Silver did a press conference, yesterday, speaking on the 2021 NBA All-Star condensed weekend. The people, on Twitter, have been going in on Adam Silver, accusing him of only doing the game, due to greed, risking the lives of many. Already, it’s been said people who went to Atlanta, for the entertainment, have been dealing with harsh conditions, and fans clown him for thinking this was a good idea, also bringing Trae Young’s All-Star spot up.
