In many ways, Atlanta is the city of the future, and it’s becoming considered the LA of the East Coast. The NBA knew what they were doing, returning the NBA All-Star weekend to the city. Also, the entertainment scene wasted no time getting to it, either.
Immediately, promoters began creating their All-Star themed parties. Actually, King of Diamonds, in Atlanta has centered their entire relaunch on this weekend. All of this comes in spite of fans not actually being allowed to partake in official All-Star game festivities.
According to Marc Stein, the NBA has been sending out several cease-and-desist letters. His report claims the NBA has sent warnings to many Atlanta party promoters, roughly 200 of them. This is due to many parties using the NBA All-Star logo and name to market their parties.
