There was some action, yesterday, in Martin and Edgecombe Counties, in North Carolina. A routine traffic check turned into something much more. Definitely, there was nothing routine about this traffic check.
As police had US Highway 258 shut down, for a traffic check, a gray Dodge Charger sped through the checkpoint. The police, immediately, began their pursuit of the drivers, who fled the scene. There was a high speed chase, with cars going over 100 mph.
Freddie Augustus and Jasean Love took the police on a high-speed chase, through Edgecombe County and Martin County, in North Carolina. The two were arrested, following the chase, which began following them speeding through a routine traffic check. Augustus and Love had two firearms in the vehicle, and Augustus (driver) was charged with felony flee to elude, felony carrying a concealed firearm, assault on a government official, and several driving charges.
