Back in the spotlight, Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall reunited for Coming 2 America. The long-rumored sequel came, but not as expected. Restrictions led to this movie being an Amazon Prime exclusive.
Eddie Murphy, at the height of his career, did Coming to America, where Prince Akeem became a legend. Decades later, the iconic role is back. Many believe the classic movies should never be touched.
During a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon, on “The Tonight Show,” Eddie Murphy spoke on doing the Coming 2 America sequel. The famed comedian was honest about the film. Although he ended up changing his mind, he said he never intended to do a sequel.
