Tory Lanez’s Request To Be Able To Publicly Speak on Alleged Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Denied at Court Hearing Today; His Attorney Argues That Megan and Her Legal Team Shouldn’t Be Able To Speak on It Either

Last month, sources close to Tory Lanez revealed to HHV that he had evidence from eye witnesses and and the prosecution that would prove his innocence in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case he’s accused of being involved in. For this to happen though, he needed a order that prohibits him from speaking on the case lifted.

A court hearing took place today which decided if Tory would be able to speak on the case. Unfortunately for him, this did not go his way. According to Page Six, a judge threw Tory’s request away.

Lanez’s attorney, Shawn Holley, said at the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles that this is “unfair.” This is due to that this rule doesn’t apply to Megan.

“I think in a perfect world, no one would be able to say anything,” Holley said to the judge. “My goal is to be fair.”

Holley added that Megan and her attorney, Alex Spiro, continue to speak on the case publicly. They also supposedly spread info to the media.

“I don’t know how I can sit idly by when the complaining witness and her lawyer speak to the media.”

Holly also claimed to the judge that a witness in this case has been “intimidated by the complaining witness.” This alluded to being Megan.

“We are simply seeking a fair proceeding, which is difficult when Ms. Peterson and her lawyer are able to speak about the evidence in the case, yet we are unable to refute their public statements because of the protective order,” said Holly to Page Six after the hearing.

Back in November, Tory plead not guilty to one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. The Toronto rapper was originally charged in early October.
