In 2018, City Girls began making some noise. The duo, consisting of JT and Yung Miami, hail from Miami, a city with an esteemed hip hop history. Signed to QC, City Girls represent the new generation.
City Girls’ momentum built, through 2018, and their co-sign from Drake led to “In My Feelings,” the “KeKe challenge.” In the months, following, JT went to prison, as City Girls kept growing. Their song, “Twerk,” with Cardi B, was one of 2019’s first hits.
Yung Miami, today, is celebrating her 27th birthday. Her birthday was celebrated City Girls’ style, as JT had a major gift for her. As she is becoming a star, in her own right, JT gives Yung Miami $50,000, in cash, to celebrate her birthday.
