Last night, Yella Beezy was arrested in his hometown of Dallas as he was reportedly driving by stop signs. TMZ reported that police searched his vehicle due to the smell of marijuana being inside. There, police found a gun that was supposedly unregistered, which Beezy and his team denied.
Beezy’s manager, Antonio Low Brown, explained how the rapper was in his armored-plated, bullet-proof truck in his old neighborhood getting Valentine’s Day flowers for his girlfriend. He was booked on the weapons charges but none related to drugs as Beezy claimed that he doesn’t smoke. Beezy also emphasized that his firearms are registered and Brown added that this was a situation of harassment by police.
Now, Beezy is a free man as he was seen leaving a Dallas jail this afternoon, according to The Shade Room. There the “That’s On Me” rapper explained how cold it was in his cell. It was definitely evident that he was very excited to finally get out of there. Last night, Brown was still in the process of trying to bail him out and that goal has finally been accomplished.
