Tragedy is sadly hitting Nicki Minaj as today, it involves her father. According to TMZ, 64-year-old Robert Maraj was killed on Friday in New York as a result of a hit-and-run.
This incident occurred at Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue close to 6PM ET as Maraj was crossing a street. The driver quickly fled the scene as others in the area didn’t have much information for police once the crime occurred. Maraj was then transported to a local hospital as he passed away as a result of his injuries.
The Homicide Squad is now investigating this case as they are asking for the public regarding any information on the suspect. They are also still trying to find out what type of vehicle the suspect fled in.
As of now, Nicki hasn’t spoken on her father’s death but she’s been very quiet on social media lately anyway. Prayers go to her and her and her family loved ones during this difficult time.
