In his career, Kirk Franklin revolutionized gospel music. Due to the nature of gospel music, it isn’t as attractive as regular hip hop and R&B music. However, Kirk Franklin added hip hop beats to his music, amassing millions of fans.
Kirk Franklin, in more recent years, leaves the music to his choir. On his later records, Kirk Franklin mostly adds ad-libs to the songs. Meanwhile, he continues spreading the Word, through his hostings.
Recently, Kirk Franklin called into “The Breakfast Club,” where he talked to Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee. In this interview, he spoke directly about the culture and his faith. While there, he also discussed his “Good Words” podcast, along with much more.
