Congress announces people who lost family members, due to COVID-19, and couldn’t afford a funeral are eligible for up to $7,000 reimbursement

The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on the whole world. In America, the pandemic particularly took its too, particularly impacting people with less wealth. This, along with the government not reacting fast enough cost lives.

COVID-19 has cost 450,000 American lives, and counting. A lack of people wearing masks and social distancing has led to the spread, according to health officials. But, Congress has now passed a bill to aid the families of the victims.

US Congress has been busy, today, but they did something to help the families of COVID-19 victims. They passed a bill, which will allow families of COVID-19 victims to receive reimbursements, if they could not afford funerals. These families will receive up to $7,000, from the government.
