On Sunday night, Super Bowl LV finally arrived as it resulted in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers smashing the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-9. This was also done on the home field of the Bucs at Raymond James Stadium. The halftime show featured a performance by The Weeknd, arguably the biggest music star in the world right now.

As The Weeknd was performing his hit records, Drake was also tuned in as he posted clips of the show on his Instagram stories. The two are both from Toronto as Drake admired what he saw. One of the captions to his video was “Big moment for the city!!!!” in reference to their hometown.

Drake and The Weeknd first collaborated together on a song way back on Drake’s “Crew Love” single. This record appeared on his classic second studio album, “Take Care,” in 2011. Crew Love ended up peaking at No. 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 9 on the Billboard US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. They also collabored on The Weeknd’s 2012 single, “The Zone.” Many hope for the two to also appear together on Drake’s upcoming sixth studio album, “Certified Lover Boy.”
