Because of how last season turned out, the Warriors faced low expectations, this season. However, Stephen Curry is proving he’s worth that $201 million contract. While it’s clear the Golden State Warriors are not the team they once were, they are contenders.
The Warriors are definitely in the playoff picture. Not only that, but Steph Curry is playing some of the best basketball of his career. Curry is, arguably, having the best season of his career, following the injuries that left him sidelined most of last season.
Tonight, Steph Curry set Twitter ablaze, once again. As the Warriors took on the Dallas Mavericks, Steph tore them apart. By halftime, he had 30 points, en route to 57 points, for the entire game, but this wasn’t enough for Golden State to beat the Mavericks. On Twitter, the fans are giving Curry his props, despite Golden State not getting the W, because he gave the ABC viewers a show, tonight.
