2020 was a huge year for Pop Smoke’s music even after tragically losing his life in February. Before his death, he released his ‘Meet The Woo 2′ mixtape which contained hits such as “Christopher Walking” and “Shake The Room” featuring Quavo. In the summer, Smoke’s estate released his posthumous debut studio album, ‘Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon.’ That debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and is platinum now. It is currently No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

More music from the late Brooklyn rapper is on the way as well. In an Instagram post for Smoke’s manager, Steven Victor’s Human Made sock collaboration, someone asked if the music is coming. Victor simply said “Yes.” Victor also responded to another fan and confirmed that a Smoke, Fredo, and Young Adz collab is cleared.

In March, Smoke will also be nominated for his first Grammy award. This is for one of his 2019 breakout hit singles, “Dior.” The category it falls in is for Best Rap Performance. He originally started to take off that summer with his “Welcome To The Party” single. That record soon received separate remixes with Skepta and Nicki Minaj.
