Through his career, Kyrie Irving has often faced scrutiny, for various reasons. Drafted a year after LeBron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving was expected to turn the franchise to former glory. That didn’t quite happen.
Kyrie Irving did put up strong numbers and led Cleveland to an increasing number of wins. But, the Cavs didn’t get back to the playoffs, until LeBron James returned. He quickly formed a duo with Kyrie, winning a title, against all odds.
Though he’s a franchise player, Kyrie Irving is a bit of a journeyman, playing for the Brooklyn Nets, following a tough stint with the Boston Celtics. Currently, Irving is facing some trouble, with the team, despite them landing James Harden. Off the court, Kyrie Irving is proving why he’s a fan favorite, as Stephen Jackson revealed Kyrie bought a home for George Floyd’s family.
